Numerology is a tool to help you gain insight about yourself. Like many metaphysical arts, its primary purpose is to help you delve deeper into self-knowledge, self-understanding, and self-discovery. It is all about becoming more enlightened and more aware of your higher purpose, passions, and potential by getting in touch with your higher self on a deep spiritual level.

The foundations of mathematics, astronomy, physics, astrology, and the metaphysics of numbers are attributed to the Greek philosopher and mystic, Pythagoras. Of course, what we know about Pythagoras's history is partly legends, stories, myths, and verbal records passed on throughout the centuries. While we may never know the entire details of his extensive teachings, we see that it has survived throughout the centuries, because at the core of humanity, we desire to know about our place in the world and live fulfilled, joyful lives in harmony with ourselves and with each other.
