What is Reiki?
Reiki energy healing is one of many healing modalities that is easy to learn and use. It originated in Japan and has spread across the globe branching out and evolving into various types and spiritually-based styles.
The beauty lies in its simplicity, structure, and spiritual precepts.
The roots of Reiki are not based on any type of religious denomination even though it came from a Buddhist tradition. It emphasized spiritual development, inner awareness, self-healing, mindfulness, and meditation as a way to a more meaningful life.

There are many different versions of the Reiki precepts that are based on Buddhism. I designed them so that everyone can use them regardless of learning about reiki or not.
Reiki
translates as
"Universal
Life-Energy"
Rei
translates as...
"Sacred", "Spirit" or " the wisdom and knowledge of all the Universe".
It means a Higher Intelligence, One Sacred Source, Creator or All That Is.
Ki
is life force energy that flows
through everything living
and nonliving.
In both the traditional and modern calligraphy versions of the Japanese kanji for Reiki, Rei is shown as the spiritually guided life-force energy flowing from heaven unto the earth.
Anyone can learn Reiki
Reiki is easy to learn and use on yourself. There are no prerequisites except an openness to learn, practice, and apply it to your life for wholeness and wellness within.
Everyone is born with the ability to heal because we all have our own supply of life-force energy. Of course, during the course of a day, our energy levels can wane and become depleted. Using Reiki as a daily practice can help maintain a beautiful flow of energy within our body, so that we can live our active lives with more ease and grace.

Remember that healing and curing are two separate things. Healings occur on a personal level mind-body-spirit, while curing occurs on the physical level.

While Reiki may appear not to cure a disease, it may facilitate a purely spiritual and energetic movement toward the source of the dis-ease.

Since the metaphysical view of disease begins at an energetic level, all energy healing modalities focus on the whole person and not just the physical aspect.

Reiki Level I Class Information
Reiki is a safe, gentle, hands-on healing technique that anyone can learn to use on themselves as well as others. This beneficial energy healing method is based on the Asian concept of universal life-force energy that flows with the intent to harmonize, heal, and balance holistically all aspects of a person- mind, body, and spirit.
In this course, you will learn about the history, healing benefits, methods, and applications of the Mikao Usui System of Reiki Healing.
Each participant will receive a certificate of completion that you can use as proof of attendance if you wish to further your training with Reiki Level II. You can take this certificate to any Reiki Master whenever you want to continue your training.
Please note that no attunements or symbols are given in Reiki Level I.
The only prerequisite is to bring an open mind and a willingness to learn, practice, and participate in this amazing and transformative healing modality.
Wear comfortable clothing and you can also bring a notebook.

Reiki Level II Class Information
Take your Reiki skillset and understanding to a new level by obtaining a professional practitioner’s certification. This course teaches you about the Usui Reiki II symbols, how to perform distant healing, and Byosen scanning. We will take time to practice hands-on healing techniques with each other using the symbols, either sitting or lying down, so please wear comfortable clothing.
Each participant will receive Reiki attunements as well as an official Reiki II certificate so that you can give Reiki on a paid professional level.
The prerequisite for this course is proof of attending a Reiki Level I certification. You can email or send in a copy of your certificate before class if you attended another Reiki Master's class.
In this course, you will:

Learn how to use, draw, and incorporate the Reiki II symbols in practical and meaningful ways,

Meditate on the principles of Reiki,

Receive Reiki II attunements through a meditative process and ceremony,
